Hello!

Sadly, with 24.4 Million COVID cases in India currently, Nepal is no longer a viable option for travel and ministry, as of yesterday. While my team was hopeful to be with them this summer, obviously a lot has changed over the past few weeks in terms of the pandemic in other parts of our world. I was discouraged when I received the news that for a second time, a trip I was meant to be a part of was officially canceled. But, you know what they say..."Third time's a charm".

After both plans I had made to go to the Philippines and then to Nepal were canceled, I am happy to announce I will be serving in Guatemala, working with an orphan prevention organization there. You can check them out and the amazing work they do in Panajachel at this link: HOME | orphanprevention. Although this is a big change from Nepal, where I was quite excited to be this summer, I know that this opportunity God has given me in Guatemala will be just as amazing and fulfilling!

I have always been a big planner. This season has taught me to let go of my plans, be patient, trust, and just enjoy the ride. After over a year and a half of waiting and expecting, I am so excited to depart to the shores of Lake Atitán next month! Thanks for joining me in the (crazy, long) journey and for staying with me. Please join me in prayer.

Love,

Cayla
